    • Own the enterprise ontology for the logistics domain of a Fortune 500 CPG company: shipments, loads, carriers and routes modelled as object types with explicit relationships, and business KPIs defined as governed measures over that model rather than as concepts beside it.
    • Own the semantic layer that maps the model onto the physical transportation tables, so one business question resolves to one governed definition.
    • Built the reconciliation gate no definition ships without: every governed KPI is recomputed from source and tied out against the figure the business already trusts, which is what keeps the model matching the data rather than the workshop.
    • Drove the agent-access design through review with the client's AI and platform teams, so LLM agents resolve questions against governed concepts instead of querying raw tables.
    • Built reusable AI agents and skills for data engineering workflows, adopted by other teams across Fractal.

  2. Senior Data Engineer

    • Led a five-engineer team responsible for the transportation data platform, setting architecture, engineering standards, review practices and delivery priorities across multiple workstreams.
    • Architected a metadata-driven Medallion framework spanning 300+ production tables, letting new transportation source systems be onboarded through configuration rather than new pipeline code.
    • Established team practices for responsible use of AI coding tools, including review and quality standards.
    • Built an AI voice agent on OpenAI voice models to support first-round SQL interviews.
    • Wrote for Fractal's GenAI newsletter and for the internal cloud and data learning curriculum.

    • Built the transportation data foundation that later informed the enterprise ontology and semantic-layer work.
    • Built ETL pipelines and analytical data models integrating multiple transportation source systems into analytics-ready datasets.
    • Studied source data and end-to-end business workflows to translate operational processes into data models, transformations and business metrics.
    • Interviewed business and technical stakeholders to pin down requirements, then modelled them into the production tables and business metrics the reporting ran on.
